I have a K850 with Australian Vodafone Live! Software on it. I've unlocked it from Vodafone Australia and want to get rid of the Vodafone Live Software. I tried the Sony Ericsson update service, but it didn't help. Any ideas??

Yeah SEUS will only update your phone with newer Vodafone firmware, not generic

If I'm not wrong you need Wotan or something like that

GDay Mate, have a look here, http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=157121 in particular the davinci bit, it will cost you 10 Euro to unbrand it. I am about to do the same but just waiting to find out what version of the firmware I should use for NZ as there seems to be two for the K850i Velvet Blue phone for ANZ region.

Another alternative, cheaper and works as it should be.

I am also in Australia with a Vodafone RICA029 software which I branded through Da Vinci and there is no availaible update for the vodafone software through SEUS. Unless there is a specific update for the Vodfone software SEUS wouldn't update the phone with a generic software. So if I want to update my phone with 031 the latest generic software I need to debrand my software at Da Vinci and then use SEUS to get the 031 generic software. I don't know if it is worth it to do that.
