I got that message just once when I used the browser non-stop for aprox. 3hours via wifi. I don't really remember how many MB I downloaded.. but I just restarted the browser and everything went just fine. I use it very often that intense but I never got the message again.

This may be a problem with Opera's cache size (more - settings - configuration - advanced - cache size) try setting it to 'large'.

well guys i think this have nothing to do with the cach size since its large in my browser, this problem was appeare when serfing the net using the P990i and all of us said thats because the lack of RAM .,,,,, there is sth we dont know i think about the UIQ 3 platform which is that it can't handle any heavy sites or any apps ............

Could be a heap- size thing. I.e., it's worked around for the most part, but some operations tend to be too complex, or can't be allocated too well. Something like - that if you have a bunch of pictures, the memory is filled with maps for the size of memory that's supposed to be loaded. And then the heap- workaround increases it, or something like that.
..Or, it could be anyhting else. I mean, it's probably a symbian- implementation issue, where the code in Opera expects different behaviour. And/or the workaround for it doesn't function 100%.

Oh, yes. How many days did you have the phone running before getting the bug.. (And I mean, it still loads the pages after you get the "out of mem" message..)
UIQ 3 still needs alot of improvments...
*nods* Strong Agreement.
