Hi.

Trying to sync my calender to my phone using S.E.pc suite.
It only gives me the option of syncing contacts and bookmarks. Is pc suite compatible with vista?

I wish I had an answer, but I have the same problems with W960i and
SE PC Suite .. that in the past .. on non-symbian Phones togehter
with MyPhoneExplorer made the job decet at least.

My daughter just bought a SE w890i branded 3G (and not Symbian)
did get versiob 3.something and it has all funcktionality, you can type
SMS in PC, MMS, make calls, backup what needed, rip music CD convert
DVD .. You can edit your Contacts, Your Calender and whatever you want to do.

A very nice Interface to Vista btw. But for the even more expensive SYmbian UIQ3 phone W960i the functionality is just pathetic.

SUpport for UIQ3 is obviosuly not something SE want to support.
Quite sad.

I can't sync at all! =(
My laptop doesn't find my phone when connected via USB in phone mode, but when I put the phone in storage mode I can browse my 8 GB of memory via my laptop.

The latest version of PC Suite for Smartphones on SE webpage is supposed to be fully compatible with Vista.

(My laptop is a Dell XPS M1330).

Thank you for the info ..

I just wish they had their S/W delivered with their expensive and high
functional phones had at least SOME functionality worth the name.

PC-Suite with W960i is something SE should be ashamed of.
Who would pay extra to get the PRO-version?
It doesn't have the basic functionality as should be delivered with
a hi-tech phone.

Shame on SonyEricsson is all I can say.

I have had Ericsson and SoneEricsson phones since 1987 and I have
been working at Ericsson for 35 years. My Ericsson 888 still works fine,
my T68i is great, my SE w800i still has a nice implementation with
the software for syncing and handling of data on/in the phone.

When I bought the new SE W960i, I believed I would get an even
better connection with syncing and handling of data .. but this is the
worst implementation of a software between an XP laptop and
the new W960i.

It's a shame SonyEricsson, such crap as PCSuite should never have been
included in any Symbian based phone.

For those who hate Vista I hope SE will fix it all for XP SP2 and even any
other implementation.

Sorry, I believed Ericsson/SonyEricsson still had some basic honor
in delivering hi-end products that could be used, even to make a call with.

I am sorry, but PCSuite implementation is plain crap!

Best regards

I have no problem to sync contacts, calender, to do, notes, e-mail and bookmarks in Vista Ultimate x64 using PC Suite. The same goes for Windows Server 2008 SP1 x64.
I am syncing with Outlook 2007.
You cannot sync with Windows Calender in Vista.

Hi everybody

I had the same problem with outlook 2007 on Windows xp, but after reading I found that the problem was that I had 2 Email Databases, so I unistalled the Outlook connector and now I can synchronize contacts, calendar, etc..

Hope you can fix your problem

Take care
