hi there just finished flashing my mates k800i. used k810 main and fs. but now phone is saying inactive sim to all sims put it? have i wrecked it?
EDIT: before it displays inactive sim it comes up with a load of stuff really quick the only thing i can manage to read is no network coverage?? yet the bars show full.
can anyone give me any advise on what i can do to fix this?

ah i have now just reflashed with k800 firmware:
K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52
K800_R8BF003_FS_CENT_EUROP
Custpack: EUROPE_4 (CDA102511/101) (K800)
but the problem is still there?

yeh, but its still saying it.. i even went into the settings to try and set a network but that didnt work either..

Did you try another Sim Card? ,or you could try cleaning yours, I had a similar problem with my K800, because the Card seemed to be not absolutely correct inserted, actually it was only a little bit missplaced, after taking it out and putting it back the Problem was solved, also make sure the phone is not locked by going into the Service Menu

yeah i tried other sims and the service menu is accessible, also sim card has no play when i put it in, pretty tight fit.
i forgot to mention before, when i first connected it to xs++ it asked me if i wanted to upgrade it to CID52 (was previously 49) so i upgraded it... could this be the problem?

it cant be the problem. i once upgraded a k790 from cid49 to cid52 and it worked fine. and you used a CID52 firmware, so i dont see the problem.
