Hi all,
after fighting with PCs for the last 10 years I've decided life is just too short and I'm going to drop the cash on a Mac Book Pro.
I'm looking through all the things I need to replace software wise and the only one I'm not too sure about is My Phone Explorer.
Obviously it doesn't work on the Mac, but I'd like to have some way of organising and sending text messages from the Mac, i often send 40 at a time from the current PC.
So any advice or ideas?
Cheers - hope your all smiling

You could always install either Parallels or Boot Camp on your Mac, which would enable you to run Windows as well.

Oh no doubt about the windows - I'm a web developer and two environments is going to save me time money and hassle
That said - I don;t want to run into windows every time I need to send a text and I am planning on having my whole address boot syncing to the mac like I do with my PC/Outlook 2007/My Phone Explorer now

Well, the address book can by synched using iSync and plugins available on the web. In Tiger you could send a text message to your contacts from inside Address Book if the phone was connected via bluetooth, but I think that was removed in Leopard, so I don't know I'm afraid...

Wow - why on earth would they remove such a valuable feature?
Crazy land of Macs I suppose!

That's how the world of technology works: introduce ten new features, then take away three or four old ones.
