Does anyone know how to remove the metal part in the door section WITHOUT breaking it?

I have a new housing that I want to put my phone in (from the stock green to blue)

I can see two plastic lugs that I would have to get over to remove the metal part but they seem way to high to be able to bend the metal over and keep the plastic intact.

why would u want too surely they are the sam colour on the green and blue one mine is a green one and it is black isnt the blue one

Bit of a late reply but I don't get around to these forums much

I was never able to get the door replaced so was never able to use the replacement case in the end :|

Fyi, the green phone has a black door and the blue phone has a silver door (as can be seen by the edges of the photo I originally posted).
