Hi all,
I had a k800 which I converted to the K810.
Today I tried to patch it, using XS, however I had a massive problem. I switched on the phone when it finished, and it all seemed ok. When I clicked start phone, it said "configuarion error. Please contact network operator or service centre"
I did not think much of it, I thought if i reflash it, it would be ok. So I flashed it again with k810 firmware. I got the same message. I then tried to flash it with k800 firmware, I still get the same message. What is the problem? Please help.

you just need to upload the custom pack to tpa/preset/custom
to patch db2020 phones you will need to use either jdflasher (i use it - its much quicker) or setool2lite 1.11

xs++ doesnt have custom packs for the k810

Allright, but i flashed my K800 to K810 using the CDA's built in XS++ and it worked good.'
The only custompack i used was with the lighteffects for the buttons and that only contained that.

Are we thinking about the same thing..
What i mean is "customization file" in XS++, there i can choose K800 from the first dropdown menu after ticking "customize file system".
It doesnt matter that it says K800, it works just as good if you want to flash to K810...
Then just localise your CDA # from the second dropdown menu + your region.
AND it is this i was thinking could help threadstarter with his problem because i think i have read that the problem he suffers
is due to the phone need directions what NET to use and such.
And thats what this stuff do... the CDA and such.
And as i said, i have flashed my K800 to K810 like this and IT WORKS.
