is there someone how has bought the devkit and doesn't need the metrowerks ide and is willing upping it to my server or selling me the cds?

I'm interested in Codewarrior software too. I asked the same question a few times here in this forum, but I think that P800 devkit owners dont like to share it.

hmm,

the bad thing is that if none of us hobby developers have the chance to get the ide for free, there won't be many applications and aspecially very few free applications.

e.g. i'd like to port ssh to symbian uiq, to remote administrate my unix machines, but i can't because i don't have the metrowerks dev environment...

There already exists a couple of free P800 games. If you want to compile for the device, you don't need metrowerks codewarrior, just the free SDK. However, if you want to test your app in an emulator on your PC, then you do need codewarrior, but, as I mentioned in another thread, you can order a FREE 15-day evaluation version of CodeWarrior for Symbian OS.
