Its an Aussie forum..... People ask about its availability from Aussie networks, and there are many who enquire about this to Optus etc etc. So you will find your answers there!

hi, i was in the same situation as you, i rang up optus many times ed of decoember, they were expencting the w960 to hit optus by last week of 2007, or fist week of jan, finally it went to end of january. i oculdnt wait anylonger, so i put up with the sexy w910i (red). this fone is great in eveyr aspect, except for its soft speaker and ring volume which is a major asset to have in any phone, so i sold my one, and purchased a w960i off ebay. check it out on ebay, as its really cheap and worthfile, i got mine from the ebay user guy "bizkit" or watever, als know as FA eleectricals, u can pick up the fone in sydney (homebush area) and also inspect it (turn it on and test). they also fgive 1 year warranty, so your covered, and yes they are legit, my friend bought an LG choc from them, and warranty covered the fault of the fone after 6 months, btw their warranty are 1 year. and their selling the phone for 719 AUD off ebay !
