Hey, I've done a Parody of the 300 Trailer using Barnsley FC Clips on Youtube. Heres the original.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qz6y3uWAJl0
But now some half wit has copied the video. It even has my name at the beginning of the video
Im not putting up the link so his views dont go up also because im at school and cant access youtube. BUT if you Youtube "barnsley 300 trailer" it comes up with >100 Views.
Any idea's what i can do to get the other video off or anything?
Thanks
Danny

It's the Internet, this stuff happens.
In the grand scheme of things, you can't do much because if anything, your in breach of using copyright materials in your video in the first place, so if you whine to YouTube, chances are they'll pull both of them.

I agree that it's wrong that the other user did take your video without asking, possibly to pass off as his/her own. But that's only regarding moral conscience to be honest, as has already been said - the material you used to create your video, although I do think it was nicely done I have to say, is "stolen" in a way also and so I don't think you'd stand much chance if you proceed to try and gain 'justice' via complaining to YouTube.
Sorry, but well done with the video anyway.
After looking at both, it seems your video posted by you has far many more viewing hits and to be honest I think anyone looking would identify the video as made by you anyway.
