Is there a way to turn the phone onto silent?

Im not talking about about flight mode but just a way of silencing all ringtones preferbly from the main screen rather then go into the settings.

Many thanks

do no about the p1 but "all" SE phones have silent button. Press the one with the crossed over note

on w960i it's the "#" button for example and i guess it's the same for p1

Well it's two clicks rather than one, but More - turn on silent, does the trick.

OR you can just press and hold the button on the keypad to the right of 0 (#) to go in/out of silent mode.

the touchcreen should have a menu drop down where you can place it on silent and keylock etc!

Thanks AD that one did the trick

There is no option that i could see in the dropdown box where you select keylock only volume and that takes you to the settings where you can choose silent.

Thanks for the replies

Sorry PK, it really doesn't - there's just a volume option that takes you to the volume settings in the control panel.

Maybe you were getting mixed up with your super secret proto?

Also pressing the # button works.
