> Trouble connecting to wifi in flightmode

Hi all
I have the SE W960i and Im having problem with connecting onto wifi when in flightmode... surely you can connect onto wifi when phoneline is deactivated (in flightmode) right?
Ok heres my problem, i set it to flight mode and then go to connectivity > WLAN and select my home router... and then it says connection failed. however, when i do this when the phoneline is live, it can connects to the WIFI/WLAN fine.
Does anyone know what setting i should alter? or how i can get to use WIFI when in flightmode?
Appreciate it if anyone can advise me on this matter

when you choose Flight Mode, the functions that use a radio transmitter, and the FM radio, are switched off. you can still use the organizer applications, and applications that can use a wireless lan connection.
note: if you want to use wireless lan in flight mode, make sure that flight mode is enabled before you choose wireless lan, as wireless lan is disabled by default in flight mode.
