Yo all,

All of a sudden, my W960 media memory (aka the external drive aka D: ), doesnt work! I cant access it no matter what I try. I use X-Plore, cant read. I use the built-in card reader, nope, still cant read. I plug-in the USB cable and connect it to my PC, still cant read.

I have reset the W960 to factory state but still the media memory is not accessible. Any pointers would be very appreciated!...

Cheers!

Sounds like a major problem to me, if you have warranty get it replaced, the internal harddrive sounds corrupted!

Does it have an option to Format the media drive? As it does sound like the file system is corrupt. Formatting it should reset the FS, unless of course it's a hardware fault - then the only option is to take it for repair/replacement.

@all

Many thanks for the suggestions.

I have tried to format the media memory but failed. Whenever I go to Control Panel to format it, the phone says ''No media memory found''! Which means the phone cant detect it.

Any other suggestion would be appreciated.

Cheers!

I have a W950 proto with the same problem. I guess there is no other way to get it fixed but to take it into a service point.

Or maybe you sholud try to flash it with SEUS, but I don't realy think that it will help. At least it's worth a try.
