having a few issues with TalkTalk broadband recently,
Anyone else use TT and had issues?
the connection yesterday was down for about 3 hours!!!
Tried calling them but they said they were busy and wanted me to call back later
Shite service!!!!

I have to agree with leeboy, PK, you need to get your MAC code and go with a different provider mate
TT are nothing but trouble, I've lost count of the number of call outs I've had to try and sort out TT broadband issues. Which I obviously couldn't because it's TT's fault and not the computers...

best, dunno, cyco would defo know more than me for sure... at the moment im using Virgin and i think we pay £25 for 20meg..... never had a problem since signing up back in october..... (although had plenty of issues when it was NTL etc....)....
what about those '3' £15 a month for surfing wirelessly? are they any good ?

Night time usage does not count towards your allowance so you can download all night long without using up your bandwidth!
They won an award recently and I've heard lots of good reports about them. I was going to switch to them myself a while ago but my current provider made me an offer I couldn't refuse to stay with them
The download limits may sound harsh but if you read their FAQ, they explain that by imposing sensible limits you vastly improve the performance of the connection for everybody. And night time use doesn't count, as I've already mentioned.
Besides, 40Gb per month is more than enough for the average internet user I reckon.

"Broadband provider TalkTalk has confirmed that it will allow customers to 'opt in' to Phorm's controversial new advertisement system.
TalkTalk is one of three UK ISPs to sign up to the Webwise service which sees user's surfing habits tracked.
It has decided not to offer the service by default but rather to allow users to choose whether they want it."
That's nice of them isn't it? I wonder what said user actually has to do to opt in? Neglect to read three pages of small print maybe?
Ok, I'm being skeptical as usual but the fact that they were willing to sign up to such a scheme in the first place shows exactly what kind of company they are.
