The earpiece speaker on my P1i buzzes when I'm on a call. Do they all do this?

If I lower it to say 1/4 or maybe 2/3 there's no buzzing, but then that's quite a low volume. I just wonder if my phone is faulty or if this is normal on the P1...

i had this problem on the n95, and there is a slight buzzing on the 6500 slide but for some reason the 6300 cheapest out the lot is perfect puzzles me
