I have a Sony Ericsson Z250i. I would like to connect it with my laptop to transfer messages from my GSM to the laptop. I have the data cable DCU 60, I have installed PC Suite, but there is no connection between laptop and GSM.The help desk of SE told me that there is no software for this model, but may be somebody has found another solution?

if u have installed pc suite, it should work gine, cos the drivers are in the pc suite itself. try to restart the pc ( actually its the usually way and the best )

Possibly the Z250i doesn't have USB support? It is a very low-end phone.

I restarted the PC, but this didn't help.
The cable is brand new, so this can't be the problem.

The help desk of SE told me that they didn't make software for the Z250i and the info on their site with the description of the phone isns't correct.

May be somebody has an alternative solution?
