Hi,
I am looking for a free piece of software, or at least shareware that allows me to use it in full *cough* Oxygen Phone Manager *cough*.
All I need it for is to edit the contacts on my phone, from my PC.

If you just want to edit contacts, then why not use the pcsuite that came with your phone? Sync it to outlook/outlook express(free) and use windows address book/outlook contacts manager to edit to your heart's content.

Yeah but when I do that, windows can only deisgnate Work and Home which adds that annoying (w) and (h) to all the numbers, which I dont want.

Oh I see, THAT problem...The only way around this AFAIK, is to edit the contacts on the phone, cut/paste each number into one of the top two fields in the phone's contact editor, and then it is no longer displayed with the w/h suffix. I've just tried this myself, and the new format stays even after syncing with outlook, I guess this is due to the fact that it is then the most recently edited of the two items. This, may all be reset if you ever have to wipe the phone and reload all the contacts from outlook, but then you could always back them up to the memory stick, in the correct format, using the built in contact manager.

Still it's like knitting I guess, you can do it in stages, and pick it up when you want
Just done about a thrid of mine before I felt my brain turning to mush........
The other annoying thing with contacts/syncing is that if you load all your contacts back from outlook, all of the pictures have been downresed to thumbnail!
Oh well, happy editing!!!

Found a way!
Sent all my contacts via Bluetooth to my Mac Laptop as vCard, edited them on there, then sent them back!
Worked fine and dandy!
