is it normal for the infra red port to blink every 3 seconds (i guess) when its in low battery status..?

i have read some posts regarding blinking infra red port and it says its a sign of a damaged erom..

is my erom damaged or is it just normal??

erom damage is only when the phone doesnt turn on and u just get the idra led flashing

i had the blinking led on my k800 too ... and the phone was working.... and i flashed erom .. and after flashing i noticed the same theme i had before .. was now renderad in a diffrent way .....

.. i mean... the colos are stronger and there are more graphic details.. than before... have no ideea why ..but its better now

yes, it's normal that the irda blinks when the battery is low. I has a W550 before and the irda blinked, but I don't remember if it was because of the white screen, or because the battery was nearly all empty (even after automatic shutdown). uhm tallking about blinking IR ports, my K750 tells me it needs a recharge

it can also be seen in the service menu, when you test the leds/ illumination on some phones i think
