I have noticed, that transitions only work in the home/standby screen and main menu. When I look at my contacts or emails, the transitions do not work. Is this normal? On my old m600i transitions worked looking at contacts and emails.I have the latest firmware, R9K009-R6G04. Can anyone can verify?

The transiton effects in contacts seem to be restricted to the menus (doing that expanding zoom thing).
My p1 has the same firmware as yours btw.

What about your screensaver, on my p1i, it only comes on if I'm in the standby screen, if I'm any where else, the screen just dims and the screensaver does not display. Also is it possible if you could check if you have transitions when scrolling through email headers with the jog wheel, I believe my m600i used to have it but the p1i doesn't, (just the menus expanding zoom thing like you mentioned). I appreciate your help everyone.

This is because in this fw version transition only works in grid view, where available.
It doesn't work in list view.
This may be another bug in this firmware, as I seem to recall that in earler versions it used to work in both modes.

Is SE going to put the transitions back in the list view, such as email headers and contacts, or might this be permanent? Also can anyone else verify for me that the screensaver only works from the standby screen.
