Even if this is a Symbian-phone, can I still recieve/download new FW to my phone? Where can I do that and is there a revision history of FW to W960i somewhere on the net?

yes there is a new version, download sonyericsson update service, then follow the instructions. btw there is another thread regarding the same matter. u should check that out.
