My wifes Nokia 6300 got soaked today in her bag, won't switch on, all that happens is that the blue LED's flicker. Any ideas what to do or is it only fit for spares bearing in mind these phones only fetch £50 - £60 now.

The blue led's usually flicker when the battery is dead, the battery might be completely damaged so try a different battery and see if it works.

If not then i dont think there much more you can do?

Leave the batt out for a day or two preferably and leave the phone somewhere warm to dry thoroughly. Take the phone apart if you feel confident enough to do that.

Try the phone again then and see what happens. If it still doesn't power up, try a new battery.

But if your battery dies and you try turning your phone on then the blue leds flash, happens on mine.
