I think the newer versions Primetech Contacts are getting more and more usable.
I like of course the fluent scrolling of the contacts (configurable) but also narrowing down contacts immediately while pressing keys (searching in ALL fields).

It looks infinitely better than the in-built one, at least.
..Anyone know if you can select more than one contact, pick send e-mail, things like that?

Looks good, but the built in one is faster (from idé to really making the call) functionality before eyecandy imo

I'm tempted to sponsor anyone demonstrating that the iPhone isn't anything special

, but.. I like the flipping through the contacts- thing. So.. then I could use the in- built contact app for cutting around and moving and making groups and so on. And the other one for calling and sending messages. (..But then it has to have multiple selections, imo, groups, and a button for e-mail -> "create draft with recipients"- thing).

Just had a play with the demo, the gestures take a little getting used to but I think it would be better than the built in manager for one handed use. The only thing I found slightly annoying is that it doesn't integrate with the phone's theme, and you can't set a custom background. It's nice to have access to perameters for scroll speed etc, though. All in all I think it needs some work, but it's a damn good start. Particularly like the alphabet selector.
Oh, btw, the only thing the demo lets you do is MMS - takes you to the built in messaging app.
