Crappy? Slow? Are you talking about the P1i or another device? I use the built-in browser extensively and have no complaints about it yet. And that's keeping in mind that I've used s60 and s80 devices for years before I got the P1i.

Hello. What you have pre-installed is the full-fledged Opera Mobile. You just said the Opera sites says so.
I'm sorry, but the options you have left are 3rd party browsers. Try Opera Mini, for example. Personally, I prefer the built-in browser to Opera mini.

I'm also surprised.
Built in Opera is very fast and effective.
Of course has it's limitations, like any Mobile browser,
But maybe the problems are due to lack of 3G???
In fact, built in Opera is great for 3G and WiFi,
but Opera Mini is more effective with GPRS.
also, Opera Mini gives more abilities to work with SSL passwords (like banking)
But built in Opera has zooming options (very useful!!!)
and can open up to 4 pages at once (very useful!!!)

I have to agree, the built-in Opera browser is very good. Perhaps it's the lack of 3G coverage that is making things slow?

@doministry, you know that Opera Mini has to go through opera server. I'm just not convinced that we should be using it with sites that use sensitive information such as banking data. I suggest you use the built in Opera for banking and other sensitive stuff.

@makbil
Thanks, I actually think all online things are a bit dangerous,
Problem is that built in browser does not support my bank.
