Hi everyone, I have a p1i, and I have two email accounts setup up. I have the two email accounts scheduled to check for mail every 60 minutes, however, in one of the email accounts, I get an error saying "download failed because another download was in progress when this download was scheduled to start", does that mean I have to set one account to check mail every 59 minutes, and the other one at every 60 minutes? Can't it automatically know to check one email account after the other one without me having to specify an offset in minutes for the scheduled download? Anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Also sometimes it just says scheduled download failed "not supported", but if I check manually it checks fine.

Best guess (not a very good one).. - the gprs login fails because some ports are unavailable once you switch between base- stations (happened to me once).. or you don't have gprs always connected (or put to "auto")? ..Or maybe the scheduler is put up with a different connection point than the one you're using when connecting through the preferred group, etc.?

Well my preferred group is internet, and under internet is two accounts a wifi account which is always in range as 1st priority and a gprs as the second account as 2nd priority. I am just testing this at home and not roaming so there should not be any tower changes when using gprs.

hm. Well.. have you checked "push- email" on the account- properties (and have "push always on" disabled)? ..I guess it could be that the server doesn't support imap idle, and that the scheduler tries to log on with an idle routine because of the checkbox (and connects without it when you try manually).

I get that a lot!I think it's a bug as if I try it manually,it works all the time.I think the phone gets confused when not finding wifi availabe and 'forgets' to go to priority no 2,the gprs.That's ok...I don'2 really mind,it usually works.

I do have the "push e-mail" checked, I will uncheck it and see if it helps. I have both email accounts checked for push, I even have the "Always on" option off. The error is usually on my school email, not on my gmail. Maybe you are right, I will try this and see if it fixes the problem.

Just for my record, isn't the "push e-mail" option only supposed to have an effect/function when "push always-on" is checked also. So if I have a few email accounts, the ones with "push e-mail" checked are the only ones that should push mail when "always-on" is checked. Otherwise, having "push e-mail" checked with "always-on" off, should have no effect or do anything different correct?
