This may sound daft but when I leave my phone on the desk I don't want a dirty great Pop up or Activity window announcing that I've received a text message. All I want is the discreet little envelope to appear a the top of the screen - already turned off the alert sound... can I stop both the Activity and the Pop up.... hmmm popping up? [or at least make it a deal less obvious]

Be kind I'm new to all this .. and yes I have done a search :0)

menu, settings, new events and then desire activity menu. at least you wont get that popup message
