does anybody know what is the different between that two...i know GW1 has more language then then GW2..need more info on it....Sony P1

I believe the only difference is the languages that come with the software. The actual software is identical.
Be advised that the latest firmware is only available on GW2, not GW1.

I agree with Sebby, the only difference is with the preinstalled languages, but it's rather odd how they've rolled GW1 back to the previous version. There's nothing wrong with the latest firmware apart from possible incompatibilities with the downloadable language packs & a problem with older versions of the pcsuite AFAIK. I've been using it since release with no problems.
At least with the current situation you have an easy chioce of firmwares via XS++...
I do wish SE would publish changelogs, then we might have a clue what's going on!!!

I wonder what SE's reasoning is behind having 3 different world generic fw's? I updated my p1i to GW2 just because my sim free p910 and m600 bought in the UK were GW2 but i wonder if SE do actually send the different fw's to different places.

i change it to GW2 already n update to the latest firmware...well now event better with the new firmware..camera works perfect n more fast for AF..and before firmware if i press number 4 in camera it will change to micro mode,normal,off with the latest firmware it wont work..hmm..well everything works just fine...
