Is there a patch to disable or reconfigure that key so that it doesn't trigger any internet connection when accidentally pressed?

If reconfigured, maybe launching media player would be nice.

But it describes how to change the key on the k800 (and its specific firmware).
Can I apply it to my K810 as is or is the syntax on the k810 firmware different? Do I need to upload both files (from thread above)? What if I wanted to make the key launch Opera Mini (which does not automatically trigger any data connection), is the syntax the same one:
Code:<ACTION type="JAVA" suite_name="Opera Mini 2.00" suite_vendor="Opera Software ASA" entry_point="Browser" />
...or similar to the menu.ml one:
Code:<ACTION type="java" javasuitename="Opera Mini 2.00" javasuitevendor="Opera Software ASA" javasuitepoint="Browser"/>

I just did but no avail. I also noticed the presence of an OPERATOR_KEY_HOOK folder at /tpa/preset/system/custmenu/ with the .xml inside which I also tried replacing without it affecting the key's behavior... I'm sort of running out of ideas here...

Edit:btw, the code I used was the above one (without the backslashes added by the forum)...

the process is exactly the same on both K800 and K810. Double check you've done all steps correctly.
