I didn't notice any change in battery life.

You could check your backlight setting, as the default setting on earlier fw versions was 65% and now it is 90%.

yeh just realised it was actually the 3G, because i recently had changed my sim from voda to 3network, which only run on 3G, but i changed back to vodafone, 3 sux , but yeh, its was the 3G that was hogging my battery for sum reason :S

I'm on a non-3G network with GPRS unattached (CS only) and wireless LAN is off. Brightness 65%.. I always close all applications from Task Manager before putting it to back to my pocket.

Battery life really reduced after the latest firmware.. Unplugged the phone at 07:00 AM. Now it's 10:44 AM and battery dropped down to 95%.

What I did was only a 2 minute call..

I think the phone got really faster after the last firmware update, at the cost of battery life.

My P800, after 4 years, drains only 3-4% of the battery at night, while my (4 months old) P1i drains 10%. Daily drainage is 25% minimum.

Same usage, P800 goes 1 week, P1i goes 4 days max after the last firmware. No background applications, no Bluetooth, no 3G.

I'm frustrated.
