I have a 68i and ATT as the service provider. Every time some one leave me a voice mail, I receive a blank SMS from myself. In addition, on the screen, the voice mail indicator and the SMS indicator come on. I am forced to delete the blank SMS everytime someone leaves me a voice mail.
Is this common for other providers too? Is there a way, I can turn off the SMS for voicemails?

I have a t68i on vodafone portugal and they provide that sms alert too. The only diff is that the sms is not empty, it tells me the phone number that originated that message. Maybe you should contact your provider.

I have a free network sms alert coming every time i have email, so i can read the email subject matter for free, then i can either pay to dial up to recieve the mail or wait till i`m home & check my mail for free on my PC. but i set it up myself,
what you have is a network message center problem, ask them for an alterative message center number.
