Even though i read this forum regularly and have been using my P1i for some months, i only found out yesterday that holding the back button locks and unlocks the phone!
I'm sure most people are aware of this, however there will probably be some (silly) people like me.

Funny, while it worked for my W950 holding the back key doesn't lock my P1.

it does lock ur p1 if u hold it for 2 sec..but i still like the p990 style of lock..say in p1 u are in message if u want to lock ur phone u have to go to main screen then it will lock..in p990 u can just lock it event u are in message or other program..am i right..in p1 u cant do it...

Yes you are right - P1i needs to go back to main screen to enable lock - you hold it twice - once to go back to main screen and 2nd time to lock.

You dont need to go back to the main screen to lock, you can select the down-arrow icon in the top left an select Lock Keys from the menu - display will lock at that point.

yes it works too.and u can unlock it by using the back button or from the keypad..but i love the p990 style...
