> P990i -Copying contacts onto SIM - help!

I am trying to copy my contacts from the phone onto the SIM, but after marking all the entries in contacts and going to Add to and selecting SIM, a notification comes up > SIM not ready> and the contacts don't get copied. Anyone got any ideas?

never come across that problem before sorry. try contacting the network your with they will usally solve problems like that could be a problem with the sim how old is it?
