It will work fine, my friend use 4 Gb memory and she doesnt had a problem.
But it needs time when you open a folder with more than 200 files.

Well, there is no lagg at all when navigating the menu or opening an application.
She uses sandisk card, and still have 1 gb free space.
But she doesnt mod anything in her phone, coz she realize it can void the warranty.

it doesn't slow the phone at all. But with a larger card because you have more capacity you can have folders with more files in them. But if the folder has only as many files in it as you had on the smaller card, then the speed will be the same.

EDIT: That's the speed of displayijng the folder - once the folder is displayed, access speed is exactly the same.

it works just fine. my former K790 handled that 4GB mem card beautifully and so does my current W610. now I wonder if it handles an 8GB one just as fine.

Even my old k750 works fine with the 4Gb. My P990 runns with 8Gb M2 ( with adapter ) now, never noticed any problem. ( yes, I know the P990 was OT ) // cheers

can confirm that k810 can run perfect with 8GB m2 card. Cheers mate
Aaaand about lagg.. phone laggs even with a 1GB card if u have 200+ files (or like me 600+) in a single folder (mp3 in music). I recommend sorting music by artists, or however u like. That way u wont have lagg at all. It laggs because phone is slow, and not because of the card. Takes a lot of processing power to display 500 files, and to sort them. Go for 4/8GB... fully working
