i have a k800i for about one month now, and in this short time ive changed and tried several acoustics and cam drivers but im not satisfied with the results... photos are still the same, and the sound is weak.
there are a few more topics like this one on this forum and there are always the same answers: that we should choose our drivers ourselves.
so im asking the more expirienced ones on this forum wich acoustics & cam drivers should i use
...and what else should i do to my phone to get more out of it (disp. drvrs, patches, ... etc.)
btw. my firmware is R8BF003

Ok my personal choice is pretty easy on the sound part, Peters sounddrivers are a winner.
Now im using Peters V2 HIFI, its loud, clear and good bass! I haven't tried his new BETA drivers too much so i cant really say anything about those.
As far as cameradrivers go its not that clear on whos the winner.. Ultimate Camdriver is for sure a favourite. Nice and strong colors with good details.
Then modify the phone a bit to make it complete, like changing the browser button either by patches to make it start the mediaplayer OR
modifying it to open whatever program you want:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=165760#post2276737
(You can make it so that if you press the button a bit longer it opens a program that you have pointed out AND if you press it fast it opens the media player)
The way you do that is you modify the button first like my guide shows then you apply the patch that makes the button open mediaplayer. Quite cool and a good setup!
Then there are some other patches that are usefull, i am not a person that likes to overfill something with makeup.. just the necessary stuff.
One patch that are really neat is "full java access", if you apply that patch you can browse the phones internal filesystem from the phone with "mobyexplorer" and change drivers and copy stuff really easy!

Just tried this driver, thank you for sharing yorulezkos. Kinda like the loud sound via back speakers, the camera shutter sound has also been amplified.
Being to loud, is there any risk of damaging the back speakers of my k810i ? im currently setting my volume level to 5 just to be safe.

on my k800 i use it at max volume ...the sound is clear ..no distorsions .. so no damage
and try the radio... its loud ! and clear ..... just..when you turn on the radio... keep it at minimum... and raise the volume your self..don't start it loud ..

Hey DeKosta, can you specify? What's the difference (script-wise) between long hold and short click? Then, where can we get "full java access" patch? Thx, Phil

I dont really know what you mean by "script-wise", care to explain?
The guide i have made and linked to shows you how to modify a file and choose whatever program you want it to start and then you manually upload these 2 files to your phone.
The patch does all this automatically but you cant choose what program to start, there are a couple of choices what you want the button to start or stop but they are limited to a few choices.
Full access to Java patch can be found at my 4shared page, its for K800 R8BF003 FW:

Yep, sorry, by script wise I meant what changes inside the files you upload when you want to add a long-hold action to the browser key. I think you said that you can program it to link to an application via short pressing and to another via long holding, right? In your thread, you only say that the patch (which I already applied to my k810 linking it to opera mini) applies to short-press action, not long hold.
PS: does your java access patch also apply to the k810 R8BA024 fw? If not, can it be tuned to do so? How? Thx.
