For some reason, as of two days ago, when people phone me I cannot hear them and they cannot hear me, its dead.
Therefore my mobile phone... aint really a mobile at all without this working.

I updated to the new firmware and still the problems occurs....
The problem is:
* I can hear the sound when i press a button
* play back music works ... everything works
*** someone phones phones me and I hear nothing and they cannot hear nothing.
* I go into the Service -- > Service Settings
test everything, all works even the speaker works correctly, apart from the earphone which doesn't work. (no sound).
After I test the earphone, then the speaker doesn't work and all playback of music will fail and no sound will come from the phone.... even when I try the "speaker" or the "earphone" test it does nothing... not even dispalys the blue bars for sound volume level.. just does nothing when I select it.

So I take battery out of the phone and then reinsert, start phone up again, and sound works again... but still no voice/sound when I make a phone call, and if I check the earphone test it'll display the blue bars but then no sound, then after that when i try it againn it does as it did beforee... so on..

Any ideas, it sounds like a software bugto me yet I have updated to the latest Firmware and it has done nothing.

Oh and when I test the microphone it records sound and I can hear the playback, very weird.

Anyone have any ideas, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
RMB

I had a problem similar to that a couple of months ago. i tried to make a call, and the earpiece wouldn't work, i thought i was going to have to send the phone back.

I then tried applying some pressure to the top of the phone, and the earpiece crackled in and out of sound, i did that a couple more times, and its seemed to have worked again since.

Don't know if thats much help, but i guess you can give it a go.

One thing you could try is to re-update the firmware, just use SEUS, and click update anyway.

If its a software problem, that might help.
