my p1i has stopped playing alert tones. when on silent it will vibrate as normal but when not on silent nothing happens. no vibration no sound. i've deleted all the tones i was used and loaded up different mp3s but nothing. any ideas as to why it has stopped playing tones? it cant be a speaker problema s i can still hear phone calls and put them on speaker phone.

Have you tried this........
Press and HOLD down the power button, this will reboot it
Play some music, to see if it is a speaker problem
Look through the service menus* and this will enable you to see if any speakers are not working
* search on Esato to see how to access these

ok done that. no sound is coming out from my rear speaker. guess this means sending it off to be fixed then
