I don't know much about cameras but I do know it's not all about how many MP there are, for example an expensive 9MP camera can produce better quality pictures then a cheap 12MP camera.

Watched a program a while back, may of been the gadget show (infact i think it was) they were saying there's only so many MP you need before it becomes slightly pointless.

I found this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Casio[....]l-Camera-Optical/dp/B000MVWEHY

Casio camera over the weekend in PC World for £99.99 I thought it was a good bargain until I relized that I might be able to get a 12MP one for a little bit more perhaps.

I will be selling my EX-Z60 btw soon hoping to make some cash towards my next one lol

How much you looking to spend roughly. I have a 8.1 mega pixel Sony CyberShot N1 though that cost me 2 years ago 350.00. Crazy. Think there is a 12mega pixel Kodak in Argos for 129.99 though not sure if Kodak are reliable. I have found Sony Panasonic and Casio the most reliable. Nikon Cool Pix range i find play up alot and so do Pentax. Good luck i will look out for something for you. Jessops tend to be quite cheap.

I forgot to say its also down to quality of lens and processor inside the camera thats counts. Also a larger sensor is better too lets in more light.

Actually i forgot to mention Samsung and Canon. I once tested a Samsung S830 8 mega pixel camera in Comet. It was 79.99 with 2.7 inch screen and solidly built and it was suprisingly good quality i was shocked. Only bad thing was AA batteries. Alot of their cameras have won awards and top reviews so i would consider them. Cant think of a cheap place for cameras but i will look after work tomorrow afternoon.
