For the last few days my phone won't receive texts unless I switch it off then on again, where I'd receive a whole bunch of texts at the same time! I have to do this everytime now!
Any ideas?

Ring them up and see what they have to say about it... or try your sim in another phone and see what happens.

it happened to me also..

we have d same problem..
try deleting some messages in your inbox... sent folder, drafts, outbox,
and even try to insert ur simcard to another phone and text (send a message) to youself... if u receive it asap, then its ur w960i
i encountered it just for 1 day.. gosh i was in the bad mood when i encountered that problem...

UIQ devices seem to have this problem once there are over ~1500 messages stored......
I had 510 yahoo headers, 822 sms in inbox, plus some 380 sent...and my P990 did the same, messaging just seems to 'lock up', until a restart! Clearing down my boxes seems to work, obviously only until they build up again......
...worst thing is, my P90
5 has nearly
2000 messages overall, and not one occurance of this! Hmmm......
