> Reading SMS on BTinfo?
Bookmark topic
I have a k850i and I am connecting to a K800i. Ive typed in 0000 as passcode and every action works fine apart from Reading SMS. When I press it it just seems to count up numbers forever. It got to 20,000 and I just gave up. Is there something wrong or am I just being impatient?

Hello @LiamConway
The time it is taking depends on how many messages there are on the k800 - if there are only a small amount of messages it should take less than 10 seconds just to transfer them, although if the inbox and sent items are both holding alot of messages it will take considerably longer for them to all be copied over.
Also, it may just be worth while taking a look in your others folder to make sure that bt info hasn't already saved a log of the messages from the k800 there in a folder with the k800s bluetooth name.
Hope this helps

Okay
I deleted every message from Inbox, Outbox, Draft etc apart from 1 which I left in the Inbox. It took a second and I had a result.
It comes up with Service centre number etc and number from/to etc but no text. Just some squares and exclamation marks?

I have found this with some of the messages I have transferred with bt info although often it is only a few of the messages that are like this, most of them normally work. I would advise having 3 or 4 texts in the inbox from different numbers just to see if any of them actually work

Thank you.
I will try this and get back to you, however I also noticed that nothing is saved in 'Other'. I cwent on settings and it says:
Saving Files to
C:/OTHER/
Skins Directory 1bt
C:/OTHER/

I do not understand why it is not saving the logs in the other folder although I would advise also trying bt info on the k800 reading sms from the k850 to see if it would save logs to the k800 others folder

Hmm, I don't know why that is but I would advise also trying super bluetooth hack which is almost identical to bt info although trying this aswell may hopefully give better results
