Well people
I have to say. I am coming back to s.e. I had to let go of my recent N95 8GIG for some personal reasons. But tomorrow shall be getting the black k850i and with my staff discount for a sweet price of £206.00 on O2
I know this phone has had bugs, i believe them to be ironed out and sorted, however all manufactures tend to have bugs in phones these days, and they do eventually get sorted out. So i am prepared to bite the bullet on this phone and go for this phone. I have been a proud Nokia fan of the Nseries and still am a fan, since I will be still keeping my N73, but time for a change though
. So this will be my 3rd ever s.e phone, last one i had was w810i. my avatar will be updated tommorow
My mate has had it at work who is a die hard s.e fan and finally convinced me to get one. I been playing with his handset for 2 days now. I am more than convinced this is the phone for me.
Ok its not a multimedia computer, like the N95 8GIG, but for what I want in a phone it has got it.
One question though. Text messages!!! How many can this phone hold? And is it possible to place text messages in a folder or folders away from normal every sms that you have in your inbox?

The phone can hold as many SMS to the size of the memory card.
So if you have a 8gb card in then it can hold thousands and thousands.

Cant remember the folders. But regarding the sms its not slow at all.
Ive never had any problems with sms.
The only thing that really anoys me is the video sync is still out of sync with some mp4s.
The k800-810 both play them perfect but the K850 struggles like mad
Other than that im happy.
Well i will be be i get my new one tomorrow all going to plan...

I havnt seen it on any of the other 5 i have had nor any of my mates.
So im hoping its a one of.
However none of my friends have the black one and i havnt seen any one else on heard with it either

just got my phone today, its going good
just a bit funny using the touch sensitive buttons though that it has on it, well the 3 buttons that are touch sensitive? or heatsensitive? what are they? can anyone confirm? also when pressing them 3 buttons are u best pressing the little white marks below the buttons, if anyone knows what i mean or the actual words itself, like media/menu and contact?

I think you're pressing the white buttons and the area around them and they are pressure sensitive. It does take some getting used.
My phone was the original O2 fw which I found OK. Although, I found tMo's fw better.

Got my new one today.
Its loads better.
Only one slight difference.
When you listen to music etc.
the phone is quiet for 0.01 millisecond then it gets louder.
Other than that its built well and is loads better.
Some of my Mp4s also now play in sync which they have never done before.
strange in deed
