On my P1i, if I am listening to music and I get a call, the phone and headset starts to beep while playing music, instead of stopping the music and playing the ringtone in the headset. If I am not playing music I hear the ringtone in the headset. Is this normal or a firmware bug? On my m600i I remember it would stop the music and play the ringtone, whereas the p1i keeps playing music and beeps at the same time when I receive a call. I have the latest firmware R9K009

Shouldn't the music stop playing when you receive an incoming call, whether I'm using a headset or not. It should stop the music shouldn't it?

It's not a bug, in fact it's more sensible that the music doesn't stop playing because
1) You'd be aware of the incoming call anyway which beats the purpose of the ringtone
2) Your favourite music won't get interrupted should you decide you're not going to pick up the call

Btw the music only stops when you actually answer the call

I see so you only should hear your ringtone in your headset when no music is playing. Otherwise you hear a beep and the music keeps playing.

you can actually trick that one... assign a voice to the person, and when is calling, you'll first hear that voice (person name, nickname, etc), and then the ringtone! it works for me...
