Hi. First to introduce myself since I arrived here yesterday
. The forum is great.
I ordered a SE K800. I know about the poor video quality. Just recently I found out that there is a way to change that, which realy cheered me up
.
I was googling for some time, but never realy found a decent step-by-step manual how to do it.
I`m a beginner at these things, I don`t know nothing
. So, can someone please, post a link or post some instructions here in this thread?

First i would advice to update your phone to the newest firmware (R8BF003), but not with SESU(Sony Ericsson Update Service) because that will flash your phone to CID53 nowadays and that is no good thing because it is locked so far.
Try to find a guide on how to update your phone with XS++ or use Davinci or something like that.
Here is a guide i made how to change acoustics, its the same steps when you change the camdriver just another path.

But something is bugging me. I`m from Macedonia, and the phone will arrive here from England (so, it`s bought in England) . In order to work here in Macedonia I will probably have to decode it first. There are places where people do stuff like that.
So after they decode the phone in order to work here, will it be safe to update the camdriver?
I know about computers, but these things are still a bit unfamilliar to me....

I dont really know what have to be done to "decode" the phone.. maybe its just a question of finding the right Macedonian firmware and Customize-pack and then flash.
I dont know how those people will do that. All i have read is that SE have started updating phones to CID53 to prevent us from modding,
i dont know if retailers or workshops use SEUS to update and flash phones or if they use some other way and/or if that way also flashes it to CID53.
Someone with more knowledge in decoding/unlocking should answer here..
