Recently I've been having a few problems accessing the flash memory on my phone.
I've gone into the menu > tools > file manager, and I should be able to browse the phone memory and the flash memory. The flash memory option is greyed out and unselectable, although I can still access the phone memory.
Have connected the phone to the computer in a bid to see if I can access it that way or maybe somehow unlock it, but no luck.
Have also rebooted the phone several times thinking that might clear the problem.
As a last resort I even updated the firmware (even though I already had the most up-to-date on my phone) as this had cleared the problem last time - however not this time.
Anyone got any sensible suggestions as to what might be the cause of this problem or how to fix it? I'm at a loss and am currently going to have to visit my local Orange shop and have the phone sent for repair for god only knows how long.
Cheers for any help you lovely chaps/chappettes can give - I'm lost without the music on my mobile.

Do you know that the memory card is definitely working?
Could you try formatting it in the phone?

it's not a removeable memory card. it's a built-in flash drive - kinda like a memory card I guess.
Yeah, strange thing that. Used the secret codes to get into the service menu to test some stuff out and formatted from there (although it didn't actually format the internal disc as such - just did like a master reset of the phone) and now it's working.
in fact, the phone is connected up to the xbox 360 and playing music through it as I write this message.
Strange thing that.
Anyone got any idea why this should happen?
