Hi from the UK newbie

just bought a new T-mobile branded k800i 20/3/08 (unfortunately the update menu has been disabled on the phone)

firmware says on it by using the joystick buttons etc to enter service menu from the jist of it

R1KG001

is there any point in trying to update it using SEUS

I'm a little concerned about using updating as its not unbranded/ lack of knowledge

t-mobile site links me to the SEUS service

wotanserver suggests 3 more later firmwares

any help much appreciated phone works great although web browsing on has resulted in freezing a few times
