my phone has been away for repair for 7 days now and im really missing it, especially as i got an mca-20 for christmas and i cant use it, when i read through my repair request form it says that i might need a software upgrade. what i was wondering was , what extras will i get if i have a software upgrade and will i lose anything.???

a normal firmware upgrade will not erase anything in the phone...
you will not notice any bigger differences in the firmware after upgrade... check earlier posts here on Esato on what users have noticed in the new versions....
