My name is Maikeru, and I've never flashed a phone before, and know nothing about doing it. Recently, my K790a encountered an odd error while charging that said:

"Serious error. Stop charging. Stop using your phone and contact a Sony Ericsson Support Center."

I've been able to avoid the error for a while, but they told me it was $100 to fix this "software issue."

I know nothing about flashing phones. I know nothing about how to get firmware, or how to find out what firmware is on my phone. All I know for certain is that I have a K790a that was bought right from Sony Ericsson; no branding.

Can someone please help me do this? I have access to PC's and Macs, so anyone on any operating system who knows how to do this would be a great help.
