is there any GPS type applications for phones such as the K850i available? the sort of thing I'm looking for is say for when your abroad and your not too familiar with surrounding streets etc you have a pocket type map on your phone.
There is this type of thing on say an ipod Touch but I was wondering if there is anything half decent for Sony Ericsson phones.

You could try google maps.. It will triangulate your location from surrounding cell towers, but it doesn't work everywhere, and it sends and receives lots of data so it could cost you a lot if you don't have a good data plan.
I'd love to know if there are any Java apps out there that do this.

I had one before, cant remember the name though, it was quite good but the data-traffic costed some money =p ill try to find out the name, if anyone is interested send a PM!
