i have a month old P1i.
i saw on the forums that g desk is a great app,gives u i phone like interface,plenty of features as compared to se UIQ 3 .
Bt im not sure whether i want to use it.
reason:
im not sure how it works.
does it totally replace uiq 3?(i think not)
if no then how does we switch back and forth between uiq and g desk?is it (switching between uiq and gdesk)fast?safe?does switching need a reboot?
is there any chance of my phone going kaput if i use gdesk?any warranty issues?

I think it is safe too..
have used it and have a few gdd files that i keep switching.
depends on my mood, i either keep the standard P1i interface or use the gdesk themes.
switching between them is not a problem at all
