ya agreed, there are a lot of file locking apps available even for java mobiles.yet it surely indicates that there is a file to anyone who tries to open it.but by using a simple method u can totally hide(more or less it is not locking or even hiding!!!!)ur private files which are not so much important.for this u need not hav any app other than a memory explorer.as u know it is possible to put any type of file in any of the folders present in memory wether it is shared or external.u may hav done it many times.
yet did u ever notice that if u put a file in a folder wich has a different name from all the other folders seen in the file manager of the fon (like images, videos, sounds etc..)suppose u hav a private file which u received via IR or bluetooth from another fon(ya it is less possible.....yet just guess) it would be automatically saved in the corresponding folder of its type and it will be available to anyone who tries to open it.but when u moves it to another folder wich is created by yourself like (image or sound or video or any name different from ur default folder names)then it will not be shown in the normal file exploring.yet keep in mind that this not at all a secuerd way (you know what is the reason....)

It's not possible. You can't save or move an image file in sounds or videos folder or a video file in images or sounds folder.

Hidden files can be handy.

buddy yzf r1,use ur deltabox and notice that the files are unmovable due to the read only attribute they have.if any files are found to be unmovable then go to propertieas and uncheck the read only box.now it will be possible to cut or copy the file......cheers
