I can send mms but can't receive? Is this because the messages are not from orange?

Im having problems even sending them on o2. I definately have the right setings and hav a t68i. When i try to send i get the mesage gprs failed, yet i only use normal dialup wap. This post was posted from a T68i

No you dont have to pay to get gprs activated but you do have to say for the data sent via gprs. But if if your on o2 you get free gprs until the end of jan This post was posted from a T300

you can only send and receive MMS msgs from/to the same network. otherwise the msg will be a link to the internet site where you can view the MMS msg.

Im on o2 with a t68i and when my mate who is on vodafone with a nokia 7210 trys to send me a mms it comes as a txt message. I try to view it but there is no picture. we both have all the right settings and have gprs ativated.

Is there a sever that we can use that would alow us to send cross network?
