Hello, the * and 9 keys does not respond on my k850. They only work after a hard reboot. I sometimes have to remove the keypad and refix it before it works. Do you guys thint it a hardware or a software issue? Please help before I do something nasty to this phone. Your comments are welcome.

what firmware are you using?? you can try to re-flash using KK client first or dare to use SEUS, and if the issue is still there, it might be a hardware issue.

BTW, does it work on messaging?

Am using 31 which is the latest and it does not work in messaging either. I wil try to reflash via SUES since I dont have a credit card. Thanks for your concern. Gordon.

also try doing a hard reset. turn off phone, take out battery for 1 minute, then put it back in.. "maybe" it will fix it.. good luck!
